WW1 GERMAN ARMY AIR SERVICE PRUSSIAN OFFICERS M1910 TUNIC

A pristine Prussian junior officers classic model 1910 pattern tunic for a lieutenant in the German Army Air Service.

A tailored mid to later war (circa 1917) typical field grey wool material with a row of 8 matching matted front crown buttons. An EK2 ribbon to the 2nd button hole which has lost most of it's white in the ribbon (which happens with the finer silk type delicate ribbons).

Double silver litzen patches to the collar with grey (Flying Troop) backing. Correct Prussian threaded matching shoulder boards with matching grey underlay and each with intact matching propellers that have been matted.

Swedish cuffs with matching buttons to the lower sleeve arm. Slanted slash pockets to the lower of each side of the skirt.

On the left-side there is just one set of loops for either a pilots or observers badge with clear signs of rubbing showing that a badge had been housed and used.

A wonderful interior with 2 inside pockets. Totally clear of any mothing after over 100 years.
