WW2 GERMAN EARLY JUNCKER (J1) FALLSCHRIMJAEGER QUALIFICATION BADGE

RARE Early Fallschrimjaeger Badge Juncker J1 Model (circa 1938).

This is an early top quality tombak A1 Junker Paratrooper Badge. The soldier scratched his name on the back and the number 503 in the back indicates he earned the badge circa 1938. So, it is possible he jumped into Norway, Eben Emael or Crete before the Paratroopers were grounded. A very difficult badge to find. Badge has a wartime replacement catch as is common as catch’s snap easily.
