WOUND BADGE, IRON CROSS 2ND CLASS & PHOTO ALBUM TO UNTEROFFIZIER HANS SIEVERDING, 1/ INFANTRY REGT. 25
1939 WOUND BADGE in Black with award document issued at Koblenz dated 20 December 1941. Maker marked (rare) to L/16 which is Steinhauser and Luck and it is their exact pattern with their form of reverse catch and hinge. Brass based with most finish remaining.
Iron Cross 2nd Class (EK11) by Carl Poellath. Has a good makers mark on the suspender ring of 84 for Carl Poellath of Schrobenhausen. Excellent original condition, a few blemishes to the iron core and dark toning in hard-to-reach areas. An excellent example by an interesting maker. Suspended on its original silk ribbon.

PHOTO ALBUM of the presentation type, A4 size, black imitation crocodile skin cover with large, embossed silver Wehrmacht eagle at the top and 1/INFANTERIE=REGIMENT 25 silver blocked at the base. The front of the album contains full page pictures of Hitler, Goring, Von Brautisch, Hindenburg & a couple of other Generals, plus about 30 pages of German military history. There are also a couple of pages of Sieverding’s details. The album itself contains 72 actual photographs that are mostly large format and extremely clear.
Pictures mostly taken in Russia of troops, ruined cities, field guns etc.
