BRITISH QVC Army Service Corps Vols. W/M Glengarry Badge

A worn example of this scarce Victorian period volunteer’s badge. Both original copper lugs are present. Fitted with black shaped felt backing. The centre device is rather polished, but all legible. One of the 3 pins that hold this to the badge body is absent. Please correct me if I am incorrect with the description, maybe the centre cypher is “VRI”, in which case this would be Indian and not UK.
